My 'new'
home II

continued from here.... The last phase is the installation of the large furniture. Up goes the kitchen cabinet (without the worktop) and the wardrobe. Another view of the kitchen cabinet. Yes, it's glossy black. Little did my wife realise that's it'a a bitch to keep it clean...hehe... And guess what? The worktop is black too! The acrylic worktop actually comes in 2 pieces but after application of some adhesive (or chloroform?) and some polishing/buffing, the intersecting line is virtually invisible. I'm quite intrigued actually... Meanwhile, my wife packs her stuff into one of the display cabinet while the rest of the furniture arrives (bed, sofa, fridge, washing machine etc). The TV cabinet, TV and bar table are installed as well. House moving - snowparang style...with a little help. Some final touches and it ready! Had our first dinner with my in-laws. Official moving in...I'm carrying the container of uncooked rice. Living room, bar table (our dining area... (more)

what's next
Today is test day for many of my students from the latest LSAT class. I really hope they do well. Sometimes I think maybe I should go to law school. It could be fun. Then I could be a lawyer which could be fun. It would also be very time consuming and money consuming and could send my family down the tubes because there's no wife or mom around. Okay, maybe I won't become a lawyer. I know I could kick butt on the LSAT though. I went out and ran this morning. It was cold, like 20 degrees, but not that bad really. I wore a lot of layers. There were quite a few people out walking dogs, considering it was early morning on a 20-degree Saturday. I had fun and the running kept me warm. In fact, I could've gone without the top layer, which was a sweatshirt. It would've been more fashionable to go without the sweatshirt too, I think. Gave me sort of a Rocky Balboa look. Speaking of clothes, mine are feeling a bit better on me since I decided to watch my eating habits. I just... (more)

cheering section *
I have a cheering section who are desperately trying to keep me going now. Reverend McMoon [ a signature name ] has been here for me for awhile now pushing me towards the light but not towards the "LIGHT" he is a strong catholic ,than of course there is my dear ex -husband and dear friend who I have known for 30 years now who will remain my friend till death. He has gone through some very hard times with me and instinctively knows when I am about ready to blow a gasket and come close to a melt down. a couple years ago I went on a melt down with him and an associate of his during one of my breakdowns ,the pain I put him through and his associate was indiscribable. In that time I had gone thorugh the hardest part of my life earlier by finally confronting my actual mother and two 1/2 sibling sisters one of which I probably could have left out of the confrontation. That was than and again here I am today in turmoil on a conquest for the age I am today. 245 degrees of total separation...
